Our God makes all things new. God’s mercies and compassion are new unto his people every morning. It’s a great blessing to know that we wake up every day with a new, fresh day with a blank slate for God to bless us in. Sometimes we might feel as if we are too messed up for God to begin a new work in us, but our God makes all things new. The first step in this new work is regeneration in which God makes us a new creature by giving us a new spirit in our soul. Then, after we are made a new creature, we can serve the Lord in newness of life.
