The Lord gives us a picture of the church as the house of God. The house of God is built on the chief cornerstone Jesus Christ and the foundation of the scriptures written by the apostles and prophets. The house is built up of lively stones unified together by the Holy Spirit. And then, inside the house, we are all vessels that we trust are vessels meet for the Master’s use, santified and honorable in the house of the Lord.
